The Community Foundation for Surrey is currently looking to recruit a Director of Philanthropy. The post holder will play a key role in achieving the Foundation’s objectives and enabling the Foundation to attain ambitious income targets from new and existing Donors.
The purpose of the role is to provide a high standard of philanthropy service and Donor stewardship, ensuring the development of existing Donors, as well as to raise the profile of the Foundation with key target audiences and to support the development of local philanthropy.
Job Title: Director of Philanthropy
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week with flexible working
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000
The key areas of responsibility include:
Develop and maintain positive relationships with Donors, and provide a high-quality Donor Care service;
Create opportunities for increased Donor engagement to ensure continued growth of funds and grant-making;
The Director of Philanthropy must raise the profile of the Community Foundation among target audiences and position it as the key philanthropy organisation in Surrey;
Serve as an effective ambassador for the Foundation and support the development of local philanthropy.
