Marjorie Jaye Fund

Founded by Steve Jaye, the Marjorie Jaye Fund is committed to supporting communities across Surrey. The fund provides grants to non-profit organisations and individuals, focusing on initiatives that improve the quality of life for children, young people, and older people.

The fund prioritises support in the following areas:

  • Providing care and relief for those suffering from long-term or life-limiting illnesses, including palliative care
  • Improving the lives of older people through enhanced care and community engagement
  • Enhancing facilities and services for children and young people

The Marjorie Jaye Fund considers applications for capital grants, such as new equipment, and multi-year grants for specific projects.

One notable grant supported a hospice’s palliative care unit, helping them by funding two specialist beds for patients receiving vital and-of-life care, allowing patients to position their own bed, and to be wheeled outside to enjoy the secluded and tranquil garden space.
