Surrey Youth Opportunities Fund

The Mohn Westlake Foundation aim to make a difference to the lives of young people by giving them opportunities they otherwise would not have had, through education, performing arts or other activities.

Grants awarded will focus within the following areas, but will not be exclusive:

Projects across Surrey which provide opportunities for young people, with regards to mentoring, education, skills, the arts, and healthy living. The Fund will prioritise supporting projects which focus on young people who would not normally have access to such opportunities, particularly young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

These opportunities will help to raise confidence, impart skills, build positive relationships, improve well-being, and prevent young people from engaging with negative or harmful activities.

The Fund will award grants of up to £15,000 per project.

Core costs can be funded. Equally, pilot projects and new ideas will be welcomed.

Apply for funding

Applying for funding is easy. Simply fill out a quick Expression of Interest Form (EOI) to start the application process.

Tell us what you want to do, and how much you would like to apply for. The EOI is designed to save you time and provide us with a little more information about your funding needs prior to making a full application.

The grants team will then review your EOI against our fund criteria and advise you if we can invite you forward to make a full application.
