Surrey Community Fund

Do you love your county and want to help its residents in the future?

This is our forever-fund, set up to be there for the next emergency, whatever that is. It has been used to respond to floods, and to Covid, as well as helping charities facing financial crisis and closure.

About the Fund

The Surrey Community Fund (SCF) was established in 2006 to address emerging gaps and funding needs. It is the Fund we use to support any emergencies.

The Fund supports current and emerging needs in communities across the county, and using our local knowledge and expertise, enables us to be pro-active and responsive in addressing critical issues identified at any one time.

Over recent years, we have used this fund to support the county to cope and recover following COVID-19, as well as using it to fund Afghan and Ukrainian refugee support.

How to Give

This is a long-term fund that people can either donate to now, or leave a legacy to in the future. Donations can be made at any level, either as one-off donations or spread over a period of time. They can be donated as gifts of cash, legacies, shares, property or land.

Don’t forget Gift Aid! Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, the Surrey Community Fund will receive an extra 25p from HM Revenue & Customs, helping your donation go further.
