CFSurrey Celebrates £30 Million Milestone in Community Grants

Community Foundation for Surrey (CFSurrey) is proud to announce a significant milestone in its history, having now awarded over £30 million in grants to support communities across Surrey.

This landmark achievement has been reached following the latest round of funding through the Mental Health Scale Up Fund, which has helped push total grant-making beyond the £30 million mark. Launched in 2021, the Fund was created to deliver a step-change in mental health support across Surrey, backing projects that have already demonstrated impact and enabling them to grow their reach.

In its most recent round, funding has supported a wide range of initiatives designed to expand access to mental health services, particularly for those facing multiple disadvantages. These projects focus on early intervention, building resilience, and reaching more people across a wider geography ensuring that effective, community-based support is available where it is needed most.

Over the past 21 years, CFSurrey has worked in partnership with generous donors, local organisations and community groups to ensure funding reaches those who need it most. From tackling disadvantage and isolation to improving mental health and creating opportunities, these grants have supported thousands of individuals and grassroots initiatives across the county.
