Heritage For All Fund Awards £100,126 bringing Surrey’s heritage to life for more communities

The Surrey Heritage for All Fund has awarded £100,126 in its second round of grants, supporting 11 inspiring projects that are helping make Surrey’s rich heritage more inclusive and accessible for everyone.

Developed by the Surrey Cultural Partnership (SCP) and the Community Foundation for Surrey, with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, this programme empowers not-for-profit community organisations who are using Surrey’s remarkable heritage to improve the lives of those most in need across the county.

These grants will help more people engage with and benefit from heritage in Surrey, support the preservation of our shared history for future generations, and strengthen the sustainability of the organisations who care for it.

From widening access to museum collections, to enabling vulnerable young people to take part in hands-on coppicing, conservation work, heritage green woodworking, and creative activities, we’re incredibly proud of the breadth and impact of the projects supported.

A huge thank you to our funding panel, including young people under 25, disability advocates, and heritage specialists, for shaping a fair, inclusive, and thoughtful selection process.
