Ruth works to strengthen and develop CFSurrey’s network of 17 volunteer-led Area Funds to enable them to respond to local need, grow local philanthropy and operate effectively within CFSurrey’s governance and systems. Working through trusted relationships with Area Fund Panels, Ruth aims to understand how best to support each unique fund through specialist advice and practical support.

Ruth has worked in the charity sector for over 20 years and is passionate about making a positive difference in her community. Ruth enjoys spending her spare time either beside the water or in the pool, preferably with a good book at her side.
