Running a charity or a community group is not always an easy task, so our Funders Plus volunteers and Voluntary Action Surrey East, have created a set of learning resources and video guides that cover some of the essential topics that you should know about charity governance. Having worked in the charitable sector for many years, the Funder Plus volunteers aim to share their knowledge, experience and best practice to help you unpick some of the more complex issues you may face in managing your charity.

The Safeguarding Policies resources were developed for Community Foundation for Surrey and Surrey Cultural Partnership by Voluntary Action South East with funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players we have been able to develop this resource.
In this series of two videos, Voluntary Action Surrey East offers guidance on developing and implementing this important policy. All those applying for funding from the Community Foundation for Surrey are required to have a Safeguarding Policy in place.
