Welcome to the Community of Practice Hub
By bringing together the experience, knowledge and ideas of organisations working across Surrey, we want to build a green health community that is stronger, better connected and more sustainable. We'll continue to develop the hub as the Community of Practice grows, so please let us know what you would find useful.
We are a growing community of charitable groups and community organisations across Surrey using nature and our green and blue spaces to improve people's health and wellbeing. This is a space for us to connect, share, learn and work together.
Stronger together
The Green Health Community of Practice brings together organisations across Surrey that deliver or support green and blue health activities. It is a collaborative network where members can build relationships, share what's working, talk openly about challenges, learn from one another and explore opportunities to work together.
Our shared aim is to strengthen green health across Surrey by:
• Building connections and encouraging collaboration
• Sharing knowledge, experience and good practice
• Supporting organisations to become stronger, more resilient and sustainable
• Identifying and tackling shared challenges
• Creating opportunities for partnership and development
• Strengthening the collective voice of Surrey's green health community
This is your Community of Practice. We want its activities and priorities to be shaped by the people and organisations within it, so we encourage you to get involved, share your experience and tell us what would be most useful to you.

Upcoming events
Our events are an opportunity to meet other members, make connections, exchange ideas and explore some of the challenges and opportunities we share. The topics we explore will be shaped by what members tell us they need. Our initial research highlighted funding and organisational sustainability, staffing and capacity, referral pathways and opportunities for collaboration as particular priorities.

Resources and shared learning
Sharing what we know and learning from each other is at the heart of the Community of Practice.
We'll build a library of useful resources here, including presentations and materials from Community of Practice events, guidance, toolkits, useful links and examples of good practice.
We hope this will become a growing collection of knowledge and experience contributed by members from across the community. Shared learning, knowledge exchange, best-practice guidance, resources and toolkits all form part of the agreed activities of the Community of Practice.

Our Terms of Reference
Our Terms of Reference set out the purpose, membership and activities of the Green Health Community of Practice and how it is governed.
The Community of Practice is convened by Surrey County Council's Green Health & Wellbeing Programme in partnership with Community Foundation for Surrey. It is a collaborative network and is not a regulatory, commissioning or accreditation body. Participation in the Community of Practice does not guarantee access to funding, and an organisation's participation or contribution to discussions will not influence its eligibility or likelihood of receiving funding.
