For individuals and families

As individuals or families, it can be difficult to identify the right charitable organisations to support to meet your philanthropic goals and be confident that your donation will be used effectively.

By donating through us, we make giving easy and support you to ensure your funds are effectively used so that you can experience the joy of giving. Whether you are an individual, family or business, we will work with you to create a fund, tailoring the criteria and priorities for the fund to ensure you achieve your charitable goals.

For individuals or families there are two ways of giving. You can set up a Charitable Fund or give to a Collective Fund. Once your charitable fund is set up our expert team will recommend grant applications from local charities and community groups that meet your criteria up to four times a year.

The Community Foundation for Surrey

Our vision is to build a strong movement of local philanthropists, connecting them with local charitable organisations – together to ensure that every individual in Surrey has hope.

The Community Foundation for Surrey brings together local donors and those acting to provide positive solutions in our communities for local people and disadvantaged individuals. Companies, individuals, families and trusts can establish a fund with the Foundation, which supports a growing programme of grant-making to communities. The Community Foundation for Surrey is part of a national network of 47 Community Foundations, one of the fastest growing philanthropic movements in the UK. Discover more.
